The Week
This is what your week will feel like.
Arrive from 17:30. Welcome aperitivo on the terrace. Introductions over dinner as the sun sets behind the Tramuntana.
Each day: Breakfast · Morning session 09:30–12:30 · Lunch · Afternoon session 14:00–17:00 · Aperitivo · Dinner. Evening events: Yoga, Barbecue, Paella, Open Studio, Live Music.
Breakfast · Closing reflection circle · Transfers depart by midday.

Getting Here
Mallorca is one of the best-connected islands in the Mediterranean — reaching it from most of Europe takes under three hours, and from further afield, a connection through Madrid or Barcelona puts you on the island the same day.
By Air — Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI)
Direct flights operate from: London (2h), Paris (2h), Amsterdam (2h30), Berlin (2h30), Frankfurt (2h15), Zürich (2h), Rome (1h45), Madrid (1h), Barcelona (50min), New York (12–14h via Madrid or Barcelona), Abu Dhabi (via major hubs), and most major European cities throughout spring and autumn. Airlines serving PMI include Iberia, Vueling, Ryanair, easyJet, Lufthansa, Swiss, British Airways, and Air France.
From the Airport
Finca Es Cabàs is a short drive from Palma Airport. Once you land, it won't be long before you're standing among olive trees that have been here for centuries. Airport transfer service on arrival and departure days available upon request.
By Train (alternative route)
Some guests choose to travel by rail to Barcelona and connect by ferry to Palma — a more scenic, slower journey that begins the retreat spirit early.
Cancellation Policy
Our full terms are set out in the General Terms and Conditions. Here is the cancellation policy in summary.
Cancellation by the Client
Right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period): the Client may cancel the booking within 14 days of the booking confirmation — that is, from the date on which the deposit is paid — by notifying MART in writing by email. In this case, the Client will be refunded in full, less the administrative costs incurred by MART, within 14 working days.
After the 14-day withdrawal period, for cancellations made more than 12 weeks before the retreat start date, the full balance (excluding the non-refundable €1200 deposit) will be refunded to the Client within 14 working days.
For cancellations made less than 12 weeks before the retreat start date, no refunds will be issued. MART strongly recommends that all Clients hold comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
All cancellations must be communicated to MART in writing by email to the address provided at the time of booking.
Cancellation or Changes by MART
If a retreat is cancelled by MART for any reason, the full payment including the deposit will be 100% refunded to the Client within 14 working days. MART's liability is limited to refunding its own retreat fees and does not extend to airfares, travel costs, or any other third-party expenses incurred by the Client.
MART reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat programme, schedule, or activities where necessary. Clients will be informed of any significant changes as soon as practicable.
In the unlikely event that a scheduled instructor is unable to attend, MART will make every effort to provide a qualified replacement instructor so that the retreat can proceed as planned.
Questions You May Have
Not at all. Our retreats welcome painters of every level — from complete beginners to working artists. The small group size means you receive individual attention calibrated to where you are.
Most participants do. About eighty percent of our guests arrive solo. The retreat creates a natural, unhurried community — by the second day, the group feels like old friends.
Very little. Please check with us before packing to confirm which materials are provided and what you should bring. Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting paint on.
You may cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund (less admin costs). More than 12 weeks before start date, full refund minus €1200 deposit. Less than 12 weeks, no refunds.
